A bicycle is the first real sense of ‘freedom’ for children and cycling has enormous health and fitness benefits as well as environmental and economic benefits to society. I believe we are all obliged to get our kids cycling as early as possible and Balance Bikes are proven to help do this. Interestingly, the first Balance Bike was invented by Baron Von Drais in 1817, affectionately known as the ‘Hobby Horse’, and they have been used by millions of people all over the world since!

Balance Bikes are extremely easy to assemble and their lack of moving parts and oily chains means there are very few problems with them. If there is a problem it is usually fixable within a very short time. Our current range of Balance Bikes are of an exceptional quality and have been successfully selling all over Europe for many years and are enjoyed by millions of young kids. I also enjoy being involved in the research and development of new products and our most recent designs are the result of extensive work with a German University to produce a new range of uniquely ergonomic Balance Bikes for the UK market.
